About ME

Compassionate and Experienced

Dr. Carewe grew up outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her passion for women’s heath was sparked at an early age by her mother who is a retired Obstetrician-Gynecologist. Dr. Carewe completed her undergraduate education at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended medical school at New York Medical College and completed her obstetrics-gynecology residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Personalized Full-scope Care

Dr. Carewe provides full-scope gynecologic and obstetric care. She believes in treating the whole patient, prescribing surgery or medication when necessary, and encouraging lifestyle modifications such as exercise and stress reduction. Dr. Carewe is honored to care for women through puberty, pregnancy and menopause. She says, “It gives me a unique opportunity to get to know my patients at both exciting and difficult times in their lives, and that bond is really special.”

Dr. Carewe was recognized as a Top Doc for OBGYN Care by 5280 Magazine. She loves delivering babies, but when she’s not working, being active and enjoying Colorado’s beautiful outdoors with her husband and two children are among her favorite things.
